Along with achieving CE Marking accreditation back in November 2014 (which became mandatory in July 2014), Hirsteel have also successfully been assessed for the Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). Being qualified as compliant and on the CHAS database puts us in a much stronger position when tendering for large development contracts. We are not losing site of our core customer either and continue to provide a quality service to builders and developers of all sizes. Be it a single universal beam, multiple beams with various fabrications or multi-million pound new builds involving many tonnes of structural fabricated steel. Times are busy!
